Thanks so much for stopping by!

My passion for health and wellness began in my early 20’s when I took control of my own health.  I knew that diet and physical activity were important components of overall health, but I had no idea where to start.  I had never been athletic and I was intimidated by sports and the idea of joining a gym.  I decided to begin with yoga - something I could do at home.  I was pleasantly surprised by the increased energy and improved mood that accompanied my gains in flexibility and strength. Â
I finally cast away my insecurities and joined a gym shortly after moving to Toronto. Â I exposed myself to a variety of personal trainers and fitness professionals and tried everything from Zumba, to boxing conditioning, to strength training. Â I developed a love for resistance training and felt empowered by the strength I acquired despite being a small female. Â I also began educating myself about nutrition and started cooking healthy meals at home. Â
I was blown away by the effects of my lifestyle changes and I felt impassioned to share these results with others.
I pursued the Fitness and Lifestyle Management Program at George Brown College, where I became certified as a personal trainer through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP) and as a group exercise class leader through the Ontario Fitness Council (OFC). Â
I decided that chiropractic was the perfect means with which to encourage others to live healthier and more active lives, while helping them manage pain and injury.
While working as a personal trainer, I developed a passion for assisting clients to overcome injuries and improve muscle imbalances. Â I decided that chiropractic was the perfect means with which to encourage others to live healthier and more active lives, while helping them manage pain and injury. Â I entered the Kinesiology program at the University of Guelph-Humber and then completed a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Â Additionally, I have become certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.Â
I utilize an evidence-informed, and holistic practice style with my patients. Â I understand that all patients present with unique needs, which is why my practice is patient-oriented and tailored towards the individual. Â I also know that the road to health and happiness is often wrought with unexpected twists and turns, which is why I promise my patients will be met with encouragement and empathy regardless of where they are on that road.
Yours in health,
Dr. Erin
